Undertail.....

So one of the things that I really like about the older CBR's is their line. They have a very appealing. Along those same lines one of the things I like least about these CBR's is their open underside, so after some digging, and I do mean digging I got a hold of the very cool people at " Pimpbike" and they sent me a undertail. It took a little grinding with the Dremel, and some creatively mounting holes in to the little tool tray thing, but I finally got it on. I just got it primed a few minutes ago, so when I finally get around to painting it all white, then there will be less to deal with. Anyways, hope the pics do it justice...
So, I finally got it all painted and pseudo finished. I decided to just repaint the tail the same color as the rest of the motorcycle. I hope to one day in the future to repaint the whole thing white, but for now this will have to do.

Changes....

One of my favorite places to visit online is "CBR Forum". I visit there almost as much as I do this place. There are a ton of folks on there that love their motorcycles. They also do a lot of customizing them to. One of the coolest things I saw in the DIY section was LED's in the passenger foot pegs. I saw it and knew that was a must. After all, any thing that helps all those other drivers out there see me, has got to be worth it. So here are some pics of the process and the finished results. if you would like more information on this project, or if you want to have it done, shoot me an email and we can discuss the options! You may have also noticed that while I was changing things I went with a Clear Alternatives tail light with integrated blinkers. I really like it, because it cleans everything up and gets the whole bike in LED's. No more slow blinks for me.

Garage opener!

Left pillar

Well as with all things that someone gets to "tinker with" I too have tinkered with my motorcycle. Nothing that will cause it to be unsafe or stupid like that, just stuff to make it the way I want it. I found out the first time I came home from riding that i really didn't like having to stop, dig around in my jacket pocket and then open the garage door. So I found a spot on the left fairing pillar to mount the opener behind some plastic, and with a little wiring and some liquid electrical tape and about 2 hours of time, I have my door opener in a place that really I only know of, and have a pretty nice looking install I think, Check these pictures out to see the results.

New toy

Hello everyone,
well as you can see I have recently gotten a motorcycle, a 1998 CBR F3. Now I know some of my family and friends would say this is not the best decision I have made in recent times, but it is something that I have wanted for some time now. So I have a good friend who was getting a newer bike and sold me this. I like it, and it will give me something to tinker with and regain some of those skills in bodywork and painting that I haven't used in oh I don't know, about 13 years. I will post more pictures as things change on it. Enjoy!

My blog...

Hello everyone out there. Joscie set this up some time back so that I could have a place to post my ramblings and what not. As you can probably tell it will mostly pertain to my Motorcycle, but you will probably see a cameo of my wonderful wife and children from time to time. After all they are the reason that things keep going. We will see where this goes.
