Hello Friends! I entered the Paper Crafts Magazine Stamping Royalty for the first time this year. I started my paper craft loving as a stamping card maker way back in the beginning of time. As time went on, I tried other techniques and branched out to many different styles. I found it a refreshing challenge to return to my stampy roots for this contest. While I was not one of those crowned, several of my friends were named winners and I couldn’t be more proud of them! Shout out to Amy, Nina, Jennifer, Lalo! Congrats to my friend Alice who is an Honorable Mention! Last, kudos to those who stretched out of their comfort zone and entered the contest. On a side note, the Gallery Idol Contest is opening again very soon. I highly recommend it to my US friends.
I worked really hard on my contest entries and submitted 9 cards to the 5 categories, 8 were new and only one of them was a unselected submission. I’ll be sharing these cards over the next few days. It really is hard to say which card is definitively my favorite since I love them all, but here are two of my faves. I have to note, when I stamp items I usually stamp several versions and work through different iterations of the same idea. The colored fox came first.
