Hello Friends! One of my very favorite sweet treats to make is Salted Caramel Sauce. I have tried several different recipes on the internet and this is my current recipe.

Salted Caramel Sauce
1 1/2 C Sugar
1/3 C water
1 Tbs Karo Syrup
1 1/4 C Heavy Whipping Cream
1/2 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste
1/2 tsp Salt
Place in a sauce pot, Sugar, water, karo syrup over medium high heat. DO NOT STIR. Allow it to come to a boil. As it starts to change to a caramel color, remove from heat, whisk in the Heavy Whipping Cream, Vanilla bean paste and the salt. IT WILL BUBBLE up and throw off a lot of steam, just keep stirring. return to heat and cook a little bit longer. Pour into jars. Refrigerate after it cools down.



















































I’m so glad you posted this recipe. I’ve tried a few and didn’t love any of them. Does your sauce need to be heated before pouring on?
if you want it to pour easily, heat the portion you want to drizzle a little bit. Donʻt heat the whole jar.

Do I have to use vanilla paste? Can I not use vanilla extract? Looks so yummy I would love to make this!
