What’s Scrappenin?

Hello Friends! I have a few layouts and projects to share with you today, but first I want to tell you about my gallery idol girlfriends.  Over the weeks of the competition, we gathered online to chat and discuss various things like the merits of various brands of kraft cardstock, our favorite stamps, our favorite companies, our families… and as the contest drew to a close, we knew we wanted to stick together and keep in touch. As the prize boxes rolled in, it seemed a good idea to have a blog hop to say, Thank You Paper Crafts and sponsors of the many prizes. We are each creating shaped cards to share and each of us are offering up various prizes. I’ll be using goodies from my prize box to create my card and entering my shaped card into the Paper Crafts July Shaped Card Challenge. (Read about it here, enter your cards here) It all goes down on Monday, so please check back in then! Would you like more details? Check out our facebook event information here.

My first layout was created for the weekly challenge where I challenged peas to scrap a funny story. I haven’t done an extraction like this in awhile, it always makes me smile :)

inertia adventure

My kids are always cracking me up, especially my younger son. The things that come out of his mouth make me laugh all the time and I love to post them on twitter or facebook so I can remember to come back and document them for the future. My boys love to read books and comics and one of their new favorites is called Nemu Nemu and is created by a couple that live here in Hawaii. We follow them on twitter, facebook and instagram and the boys love to share their common adventures with the pups from the comic strip who reply on twitter. This weekend we saw a playground toy that reminded us of a strip where Anpan learns about inertia and we had to share with him. Jordan was thrilled when Anpan replied to our picture. My challenge this week is to tell a fun or funny story. Document it before you forget it!
