journaling: at five years old you are reading quite well. Learning to write more neatly. Cutting with a scissors, coloring, counting numbers and identifying money. You are good at jumping, running, throwing and catching.

like a kid in a candy store

journaling: We stopped in old Hilo Town to check out the cool stores on the waterfront. We were immediately drawn to the red doors of the Sugar Coast Candy Store. Inside, the burlap covered trashcans and black and white checkered floors welcomed us. The old fashioned specialty candies were hard to resist and we left with smiles on our faces and sugar in our bags.

When I first did this layout, I made a typo and had to go back to my layered file and correct the mistake. Then I started thinking, if I turned the template on it’s side, I could show more of this awesome shot… so I did. Here is version 2. which do you like better?

Thanks for stopping by! I picked up quite a few new kits to work with this week, so I’ll have lots to share! Do you remember that fly layout I did with Laina’s kite and Dear Lizzy Papers and Divine twine? It’s here on Scrapstreet Magazine.com...
