Elmo, Woody, Jalen and Jordan

On Thursday we headed down to the early showing of Sesame Street Live at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.  I should start off by saying I am a fan of Sesame Street.  I can remember singing along to the ladybug jamboree as a kid.  In my first few years of College I worked as a student the Hawaii Public Television, and loved the stuffed guys in the lobby… and I have always wanted to go see Sesame Street Live, but just never had the opportunity until now.  So we can safely say, we were ALL excited to go down there.

I snapped a shot of Granny and the boys in front of the theater…

We picked up a program/coloring book for $8 and found our way up to our balcony seats.  They were actually pretty good seats…

I know I have issues, but I kept thinking, I’d love to feel the costumes. hmm, what is that material Big bird is made of?  hmm, that looks like fringe on his legs. oooh, elmo is so cute and huggable!  It seemed strange to see ernie and bert’s legs, and it also seemed strange to see “Mr Noodle” standing next to elmo and they were the same height.  but other than that, I really enjoyed the show.

Here’s a shot of my sweets heading out…

There were Elmo Balloons, shirts, and light up spinny things (all cute, but no thanks).

I had to snap this shot of the glass in the lobby of the theater.  It’s so cool, it reminded me of fish scales.

and speaking of fish… there are fish ponds down at the blaisdell center and my girlfriend yvette reminded me to take some bread to feed them.  What a great idea! I grabbed a bag of stale hot dog buns out of the fridge before we left and we had lots to feed the fish and enough to share with some other kids that came up next to us.  It was so much fun.

On Friday, we went to the movie theater to see Toy Story 3.  What a great movie!  I absolutely loved it.  and being the sap that I am, I was wishing I would have remembered to bring tissues.  Great movie.  Definitely a must see.

We have had some fun times out this past week!  Thanks for stopping by!  Next time I’ll tell you about the new goodies we picked up last week.

Love Love and Blog you again soon!
