Wow, you are on fire!! Congrats on all the good scrappiness!!!

As for home schooling, it's not for me... but we have a great school system here. My friend, who has one 18 yo son, and 6 (yes 6) girls, she home schools all of them. (she didn't home school her son because her ex wouldn't allow it.) They are very bright girls. She does field trips w/ the other home school moms and they have science and art days when they also meet with the group. She has a fabulous school room set up in her basement, complete with a giant white board and little desks. Here in PA, if you home school, the kids have to pass tests to make sure that they are learning. I don't know if other states do that.

Good luck!!

We are just finishing up our 7th year of homeschooling -- one of the best decisions that we have ever made! As a military family, it is a wonderful way to make the most of DH's schedule and our not-so-predictable life style. You will find plenty in terms of curriculum...in fact, you will probably find too many choices! Enjoy this new venture!
