We got word earlier this morning that the ship might delay the departure by a few days due to rough weather in the forecast.  We waited anxiously today, hoping that we might eek out another day or so, but then the word came back this afternoon that tomorrow is the day.  Troy will have to be at the ship at 6am.  We have not discussed whether we’ll be waiting on the ship to leave or not.  Jalen doesn’t go back to school until next Monday and I’ve already told Jordan’s teachers that he’ll be out tomorrow.  I hope it goes well.  Tonight we’ll be celebrating Jordan’s and Troy’s birthdays, valentines and our (14th) anniversary!  We picked up one of our favorite cakes from Deelite bakery this afternoon.  It’s guava chiffon, yummm! :)

My picture of the Day for yesterday is my (step)brother Kam and my sister in law Melissa.

Today was a day for tying up loose ends.  Getting safety inspections for truck and motorcycle, mowing our little patch of lawn in the back… I think we are about as ready as we can be.
