Every once in a while I’ll get a glimpse of something at Jalen’s school that just reaffirms in my mind the reason why we chose the Christian school that we did.  One day at school he fell down and hurt his leg a little bit.  They sent home a note saying they applied ice and prayed with him before sending him back to class.  Makes my heart happy.  The Christmas concert the other night was another one of those things.  The first class up was the Kindergartners and I could see Troy and I were up for a night of misty eyes.  The fact that it is a Christmas Concert and not a winter festival.  The celebration of the birth of Jesus. Just makes my heart happy.

and when we got there, we sat about 2/3 of the way back, just in case Jordan didn’t do well in the chapel.  He did pretty well, although he asks a lot of questions like why does the king want to get rid of Jesus? What is that red thing? Is that Jalen’s Class? Where is William? Wow, you guys were awesome! Mom, I tell them they were awesome! funny kid.  thankfully the people right in front of us were amused and not irritated by his running commentary.

Jalen and his class sang 2 songs and they were just awesome!
