It’s Sunday night here in Honolulu and the boys are in their beds. We stayed in the whole weekend, I am so happy. Don’t get me wrong, I love going on little adventures with the boys, but we were so busy running around last week that it was just nice to stay home. We’re waiting on (TROPICAL STORM?) Felicia. People around here are milling around for storm supplies. We have batteries, radio, flashlights, camp stove, gas grill (and extra gas). Soap, paper plates, napkins, water, food, medicine… and clean clothes-in case we lose power and can’t wash… our clothes are clean. I’m just waiting for the news to come on so i can hear the latest.
Jalen’s 9th birthday was on Thursday and he scored some sweet Lego sets. And somehow, Jordan scored some sweet Lego too. It has been a full on Lego fest in our living-room the past few days. Now Jalen is big enough that you only have to help get the box open, and he does all the rest. Normally Troy helps Jordan put together his Lego sets while I snap pictures… but now I get to be a builder. I love Legos. I love that you can make seemingly anything. I also love the mini-figures. They are like Barbie, only better because it’s acceptable to pull heads off and swap them around, and if you don’t like the hair, you can pull it off in exchange for a hat or totally new hair! I also love the little accessories like coffee cups, water goblets, apples, hats, glasses etc!
Also on Friday I was able to pick up a copy of Harry Potter and the sorcerer’s stone on cd. We had requested it and they delivered it to my local library. We listened to the amazing story teller Jim Dale reading, what a pleasure. I’ve also requested the other books and i can’ wait to listen to them.
Right now i am battling sleepy eyes while trying to type this, so i will sign off for now.
Love Love,
Bossy Joscie
Waiting on Felicia

Speaking of Star Wars….my husband loved your layout in the final issue of Memory Makers! LOL! Or, at least he loved the costumes!!!
Missed your blog while I was on vacation…I hope all is well with Troy! How long is this deployment? I love the lego and “flat Stanley” photos!!! You’re so creative.
legos rule! But they are way more fun when you have a couple of sweet little cuties helping you!
Ethan got away from Legos… it’s more of a winter time thing here, I guess. Soon the snow will be flying, so he has to get all the outdoor time in he can. I bought the last issue of MM just because you were in it!!
LOVE the Star Wars Legos here too….Daddy loves to help Tanner build them and I like to play with them too :) I am looking forward to Barbie though…
