in preparation for deployment we made flat family members today. Flat Troy/Daddy will stay with the boys and I while Flat Mom and Boys will travel with Troy. In the past we’ve taken toys with us, I took Lady (from Thomas the tank engine) to Dallas with me on a business trip and I took a 4 wheeler with me to Seattle CKC in 2007. Troy has also traveled with Thomas on deployment. This trip we decided on Flat Family members.

We’ll be saying our farewells and being thankful that this one is only 3 months long. Also tomorrow, I’ll be meeting Jordan’s new preschool teachers for orientation day and then going home to tidy up before the home visit on Tuesday. The home visit gives the teachers an opportunity to meet Jordan on his home turf and become more than strangers. :) Thanks again for keeping us all in your prayers, you’re the best!
OOOH, and a quick scrappy bit: I got the new Martha Stewart edge and corner punch set the other day, LOOOOVE them!

“Laminated Kimmy” traveled all over London before real Kimmy arrived there, mostly becuase my friends are silly. :D

it was a little tricky at first, this was the third thing I punched to get it lined up just right… but I so Love it!

I got mine at amillionlittlethings.com but they are already sold out, I knew when I saw it I had to buy quickly! (we don’t have michael’s in HI)
