Last weekend we ran into Jordan’s best friend from preschool while out shopping at the outlets. We set up a play date for this week and were so excited. We met out at Ko Olina Resorts to go to the beach in the morning. It’s a resort that has 4 man made, groomed lagoons for your lounging pleasure. the parking is limited, but free. and there are no life guards. but we keep a close eye on our kids and so far so good.

These two had so much fun! :) and Jalen had a good time too!

took a quick snack break…

Ever since we went to see the movie Up last week I’ve been wanting to go buy some balloons. Since we had time to stop off at the craft store on Wednesday, we picked up 10 latex balloons. It was fun when they asked if it was some one’s birthday to be able to say, nope, just buying them for fun! (and pictures of course) Of course, had I thought about the wind outside… I might have thought of an indoors photo location, or waiting for another day… but no, I carried those balloons out to the car and we picked up lunch and headed down to the beach at Hickam… We picnicked and then took a quick photo op with the balloons on the beach. I also took the opportunity for a few ttv shots too. I really enjoy doing both varieties.

here is the skirt I sewed. It’s not a very flattering shot I’m afraid, but I’m putting my vanity aside to show the skirt. ;)

I hope you’ve enjoyed these snaps of our life in Hawaii! I’ll be back again soon!

cara, I bought a Kodak Duaflex camera from ebay and those pictures are actually taken through the viewfinder. You can get free textures though from flickr. some of my favorites are free from Nesster.
Gorgeous!! Lucky you livin’ in paradise!! i.must.visit! ;) Got a couple of little heartbreakers on your hands! :D
Oh, that movie made me cry!
But I LOVE your skirt.
OMG – just stumbled upon your blog while I was doing some google searches for Scrapbook Stores in Honolulu to see if my store made the list…I just opened a scrapbook, papercraft and digital scrapbook store at Kahala Mall last month.
Just reading through your blog and found that we have soo much in common. I just re-learned how to crochet a few months ago, grandma taught me when I was young, but I thought it was too hard. Learned how to crochet flowers and the difference between single crochet and double crochet on YouTube – love that site! If you havent’ already, google “Amigurumi” – amazing what you can do with crochet in the round. Wanna try knitting next, but that one looks difficult to learn.
I’ve been scrapbooking/stamping since I was in high school and just love all things crafty. My background is MIS – so l just love digital design…photography is an interest of mine too, but haven’t had much time to learn it.
So glad I stumbled upon your blog!
