WOW! it has been so rainy around here! On Thursday morning, we awoke to a the sound of rain and not much else, because the power was out. NO familiar sound of the air conditioning humming, the coffee pot beeping or anything else. I ended up keeping both boys home on Thursday and we just stayed in and waited for the power to come back on. It rained a lot and was also very windy… Tree branches, leaves and other items scattered everywhere. HOWEVER, we were the lucky ones. There were neighborhoods in other areas that flooded severely. There were homes flooded with water and mud and have sustained a lot of damage. I pray for their safety and well being.
I, too, will pray for everyone’s safety and well being! Hope you guys are doing okay.

glad you guys are ok! My dad and stepmom experienced the tornado!! That was here in kauai. That’s crazy. I’m hoping it will be halfway nice the rest of the time we are here. We haven’t gone to the beach yet and we’ve been here since sat. I’ve had enough of the shopping and tourist stuff lol :) thought about ya when we were in honolulu waiting at the airport -maybe next time!

It snowed here, but then yesterday it was so warm (well 40s) and today it’s supposed to rain all day….I’d take snow any day over rain!
