Do you ever feel like you’re always in a rush to get something done just to get to something else?  I swear my brain is always in hurry up mode… If I could just slow it down for a minute… I might be able to be productive.  I know it’s my own fault because I feel like if I can’t do a perfect job right now, I’ll just wait until I have more time to do it perfectly, so for now I’ll just ___ insert time wasting activity. be it twitter, facebook, tv… but anyway, my short attention span wanders again.

I am loving facebook.  It is so easy to find people that you know with the friend suggestions.  The only thing I don’t like is the teeny tiny avatars.  When you are trying to figure out if you “know” a person requesting friendship… hmmm who the heck is that?!  Some of my favorite little time wasters are myFarm, Flair, and Scramble.  Troy and I laugh all the time and talk about our farms.  He had to ride on his ship over to Maui this weekend and I am tending his crops on his farm this week, it’s pretty funny.

Troy ordered me a new cell phone.  It’s partly a Christmas gift, partly because I just needed to replace my old one.  The brand new G1.  It’s a cool little phone. I got it in the mail yesterday, and I am still waiting for it to work.  The G1 requires a different data plan than my old phone and it can take up to 24-48 hours for the new data plan/sim card/phone to “provision”.  what does that mean? I have a super cute new phone that doesn’t work yet. UGH! The best news is that it works with my current chargers, so I don’t need to buy any new ones. :)

Did I tell you all that I made it to the next round of the Cocoa Daisy Diner Scrap off?  The group this week is 4.  I’ve been working on my layout for this week’s challenge.  No sketch but strict list of ingredients: 4 different patterned papers from different manufacturers, 1 solid cardstock, 2 different ribbons or trims, 2 photos anysize, 1 stamp, title and atleast one line of journaling. paint, ink, glitter, stitching may be added as needed.  It’s due monday and I’m hoping to get mine finished up and posted soon.  I was very excited to see that Becky Higgins’ sketch submission date was extended, so I’d like to work on that too.  I also have ATCs and other DT and submission items to work on….
