Here is a tutorial I created at Halloween time… I hope you enjoy
I found these cute buckets for a dollar at wal-mart and I just couldn’t resist!
First I took a sheet of template plastic from the fabric store and trimmed off a 4 inch wide section.
Then I used a bigz top note sizzix die to cut a piece of template plastic into a fancy label shape.
I wanted to add some texture to the plastic, so i embossed the plastic label with a cuttlebug french dot embossing folder.
I used my cropadile to punch a hole in the label and added a felt flower and brad from Making Memories to the bottom left corner. I added glittery letter stickers from Making Memories to spell out sweet treats.
I glued it on with Zip Dry Glue. I used rubber bands to hold the label in place until the glue dried.
There are many other embossing folders you could use, here is one with a swirly pattern:
I used felt thickers to spell out boo and added googly eyes in the o’s. I also added some mini pompom trim with zip dry glue.
