Some days in paradise the trade winds get disorganized and fail to blow away the vog from the volcano on the big island.  Those days are usually hot, humid and voggy.  The sky looks gross and gray.  If you’re outside for extended periods of time, your eyes hurt or itch. your throat hurts or itches. your lungs hurt. especially if you have asthma or other breathing issues.  no fun.  the only, and i do mean only, good thing is spectacular sunsets.  this one was from yesterday. and can i add. I severely dislike power lines above the ground.

Today was another voggy day, but I am hoping it will clear up by tomorrow.  I asked Jalen to stay in during recess (in the ac) as I also stayed in the ac.  The mail man brought me two bits of happiness today… a new stamp…and flat joscie.  FJ gets her own post later. first the stamp!

how awesome is that?! I had seen one that Keisha Campbell uses and thought, I NEED one of those.  so i ordered one wood mounted :) LOVE it! (the stampin’ place: www.stampin.com )

I pick Jordan up from Preschool at lunch time.  His program is only a few hours long- so we enjoy lunch together daily.  Today I could tell that he was tired. can I say I LOVE punchy Jordan.  You know the giggly I’m so tired that everything is funny state.  My favorite.  it comes right before grouchy i’m crying because everything is the end of my universe state.  Makes it dangerous to enjoy #1 too much.  but today, we giggled over weep sins. (that’s wheat thins, for those who need a translation)

Now that it’s just after 8, i need to turn off peter pan and get those boys upstairs for medicine and bedtime prayers.  I hope you’re all doing well out in the world.  I got word from Troy that they are on the move and starting the trip home.  I have to say, I’m glad this seperation is a short one.  I am continuing to pray for other service members and their families who are seperated.

and one last thing. how much fun was Happy Hour at CKMB tonight?! Chrispea rocked it out! I hope I’m the winner of the random door prize. I could go for Ali E’s new book.
