Aloha readers, it’s Thursday Making Memories Day again! I have a layout featuring some of my favorite MM products, buttons and blossoms over at the Making Memories Blog!
I made a quick layout tonight. I was inspired by a thread over at the CKMB to try out my new felt letters. I chose the new passport paper for the cool blue with red polka dots and mini tag alphas. These felt alphas are cute and super sticky. Possibly the stickiest felt letters I have ever used. So when you use yours, be sure to use your MM tweezers or just grab the very least of the letters. If the letters are pulled too hard, they will distort, so treat them gently and make sure they are straightened before applying to your project. Also I saw a layout using journaling strips where the artist placed the mini tag alphas on the journaling strips… I trimmed words out of my journaling strips and placed the mini tag words in between. :) I used a pigment pen to outline the journaling strips and mini tag words. I sewed around the layout with my sewing machine in turquoise thread. The journaling is straight from my blog post.
Thanks for coming by! Don’t forget to check out the Making Memories Blog, and leave a comment here and there to be eligible for one of two RAKs. I will announce the winners Friday. Love Love, and Blog you later!
Joscie, rhymes with bossy and sometimes coffee! :)

WOW ! Your layouts never desappoint, Joscie ! This one is just too funny ! The picture of those stools just cracked me up ! :)
I love this layout! What a cute photo idea! The red really pops, too and the letters work perfectly for the feel of the layout! Great job!
Great LO! Love the blue & red combo!
I love this everyday life layout! I like how you took something so simple and made it mean so much!
Great L.O J! I love the colors…clever little guy….making a plan. Too sweet!!
Cute LO!… Kids really do crack us up with what they come up with!
Thanks for coming by my blog ! Love all your tips for layouts ! They add such a creative touch to everything you do !
I love the LOs you come up with, and especially the color combinations here.
This LO is too cool! Love everything about it. The felt title, the journaling strips, how you mixed up the journaling strips. Everything looks so great!!!
Trisha :)
On our trip to NYC we were trying to find a good place to eat that we couldn’t get at home. We came across Bubba Gump shrimp and I remembered your post and pics. It was delicious! Just another benefit of blogging!
i really love the mix of colors here! This is so cute :)
You never cease to amaze me! Great layout!
One of the nice things about sewing around your LO with a bright thread on a bright paper is that the color stays true. With pens you cannot get the desired color unless you go with black. Did that make sense?LOL Love your LO and that cute little affinity for chairs/stools!
What a cute picture!!! I am digging the colors you used.
Great layout!
I love that blue/red polka dot paper! I am just dying to use it on a funky layout. I really like how you mixed your journaling between strips and the little stickers-it makes it feel so funky. As always, thanks for sharing a great (and endearing) layout!!! :) Jenn
Cute LO! Love the colors!
LOVE this look! Love the journalling and the colors. Thanks for the tips on using the felt letters!
Cool LO as usual. I love the felt letters. Are they thickers???
Joscie, I have been very bad at leaving comments, I am so sorry. I do love that layout, and all the others I have seen. You are an amazing gal with great talent! And how lucky to be working with MM on thier team, I must say, I am quite jealous!! Keep up the good work. Hey, are you going to CKC Seattle this year? I really enjoyed meeting you there last year!
Love the red, white and blue combo. Very cute layout. I have heard that the felt letters are difficult to use, but they look great.
Hi! I really like that lo. The colors just pop at you! Great job!
I love these colors! And, I really like how you outlined around the tiny letters to make the words more cohesive! Very cool! :D
Joscie, that’s a gorgeous LO! I hope you don’t mind if I scraplift an idea or two from it. Congrats on week for on the MM blog. You deserve the recognition- your work is gorgeous!

What a cute layout!! I think we all have those little moments when our kids do something like this! It is so cute and I just chuckle to myself when it happens!! Thanks for doing the RAK’s…how sweet! Leslie Owens
Love the layout. Such a good idea to make a memory of a daily routine. It will be a good memory for the boys when they’re all grown up, like my kids.
This layout is so cute. I love visiting your blog.
Red is my favorite color, and that layout just jumped out at me – great color combination! ~Tanya
Oh, yeah… I read some of the issues about those felt letters. I would love to try and check them out if I can find them in my area.
I do love those MM sticker letters – I haven’t used mine in a while. Your wonderful layout reminds me how I loved using those. I guess it’s time to dig them out.
lol love that LO. that picture is almost like walking into my kitchen!
great LO. Aren’t little boys so much fun! Mine does the same thing with the stools and chair. And, yes, it is usually to get something he shouldn’t. Cute.
What a rocking layout…such a sweet thing to remember about Jordan, stools & chair. I love how you journaled it…the felt, the blue strips and then the letters (how do you do that, do you print and cut out each letter or is a font?)!
Thanks for the tip with buttons! Love you LO. Blue and red is one of my fav color combos.
As usual……
Love the button LO on MM! Gonna have to pull my tin and start tying!!!
