I saw a story on the news on Thursday night that there were some pretty cool lego structures on display at Pearl Ridge Shopping Center. I mentioned to the boys we could go check it out… and Daddy got out of work early, so we headed over there to see all the lego goodness.
we saw this “spider bear” in build a bear store and Jordan was so in love.

On the way out of the mall, Troy asked, did you want to stop off at Stamps and Memories? UH, of course?! Boys played legos and i looked around. I picked up a few more colors of the making memories glitter mini alphas. super cute stuff! and I also got a 6×6 pad of bg archaic.
One last stop on the way home, to the commissary to pick up some sodas and dessert for the ladies coming over to scrap… and wouldn’t you know it, it’s payday- car wash at the commissary!
I grew up in a house, so when we wanted to wash our car, we’d grab the hose, bucket, soap and sponge and wash it on the driveway. I remember my first move to an apartment building… I don’t think there was an area to wash the cars. When we lived in Birmingham, AL, we would drive through the car wash at the gas station on the corner… and here I don’t feel comfortable letting Jordan run around on the driveway/near the street without full supervision… so if Troy is not available to wash it… I wait for the military fundraiser carwashes…. :) So I am wondering, #1 Do you have a car? #2 If you have a car, how do you wash it (or have it washed)?

But the main reason I had to comment is because you said you used to live in Birmingham. That’s only a couple of hours away from me! :) Small world :)
I love the leggos, how cool!! Yes, I have a car. The first 5 years I had my car, I got free car washes when I got an oil change at Saturn. Now dh just washes it, but if he wasnt here I could run it though at the gas staion OR IF I saw a fundraiser and I needed it I would stop.

Yes I have a car.I don’t wash it nearly enough! My dh usually washes it but my almost 5 year old son likes to go through the car wash now. I like to use it as a bit of bribery…”If you’re good at the grocery store, we’ll go through the car wash!” Does that make me a bad mom? LOL
Love the lego! That would of been cool to see. I wanted to go out to Pearlridge but my vacation is over and back to seattle we go. boohoo.
We have a car — and we do both: wash it ourselves and take it in!
Those legos were SO cool. I bet the boys were amazed. Did it inspire them when they got home to Lego? Currently my Escalade is covered in so much farm dust. It looks tan instead of Pearl!

I know that snack stand and am now depressed. :( I ate the last of my iso nuts last night!
I wait until DH gets so disgusted with mine that he takes to the car wash and washes it for me. LOL
