It’s the last official day of school this year. It’s a half day, and Jalen said they’re having a disco party. Isn’t that funny? I made some candy bar covers for Jalen’s teachers along with my favorite MK eye products… :) I’ll be posting pictures of that along with directions in a bit… :)

We had to go to the commissary again today and these artichokes looked so pretty stacked up so neatly. :)
and how happy are these cherries? (we bought these) made me think of ingunn the hiker and noel and my cousin Sina… :)
and the veggies are continuing to grow! the sunflowers are just sprouting up so tall! I read on the package they will grow up to 12 feet tall! I can’t imagine!
the cucumber is looking great! :)
the pumpkin sprouted! I was worried that I would have to replant these seeds, but it sprouted. hmmm a little patience goes a long way, huh? and even one little carrot sprouted too!
The Fedex man came by with the rest of my Amazon.com order! we got a harry potter movie to replace one we’ve misplaced, 27 dresses (can’t wait to watch this one!) and two more books! The Apron Book by EllynAnne Geisel and The Creative Family by Amanda Soule. The exciting and funny thing is Yesterday EllynAnne commented here on my little blog! I was so thrilled!
I also got an email from a lady who’s son is serving on the USS Tarawa… that ship that was going home… it really amazes me how we are all connected through the internet.
OH! Can you believe the gas prices?! Troy filled up his truck last week… and said he stopped pumping when he got to $70 because he just couldn’t bear to pump anymore!
and this is the airforce gas station today..it’s even higher…and it’s about $.08 higher outside…

I love the pictures! I also can’t believe the gas prices! We live on a Marine Corps Base and the gas is more expensive here than it is out in town. Talk about a conspiracy! :) Loved SYTYCD last night! I hope you have a wonderful Friday! :)

My husband filled up his truck yesterday…$86!!!! $3.99/gallon here in Oregon. Unbelievable!
Great pictures. We just bought a trampoline for our summer vacation :) It was cheaper than driving anywhere for an actual vacation.
Here in CA is 4.39 for reg and over $5 for diesel! INSANE! Can’t wait to go back to OR- i’m tired of being screwed with my money here. I don’t know how they think they can get away with high gas, food, electricity and housing prices here. I love all the pic’s….I can’t get over how fast everything is growing. The cherries make me smile…..they are a winter fruit here & Max’s favourite.
