Hello All! Happy Sunday! It’s a beautiful day here in Paradise… My friends, you may laugh, but it has been cool here lately, I’m talking 69 degrees! Yesterday morning we went to the park and it was so breezy, I said, lets go back to the house! BRRRR! Baby bird update… this picture is from April 3rd. This bird seems to be doing well so far. Troy said the other baby was still in the nest, but didn’t make it. He cleared it out, so it wouldn’t get gross for the other baby. I am just happy this one seems to be doing well. :) Looks like a real bird, huh?!
I am taking a digital class with Jessica Sprague, and loving it. I feel like my fingers are getting faster at the short cut keys, and I love it! this was a template made by Jessica for a quote book. I used Peppermint Creative’s Peppermint Creative Twinkle Toes Kit and quotes from my boys.
Printed them 2 per page on matte photo paper at 4.75 x 9.5, cut them and rounded corners. adhered to the board book with atg gun and glue stick, brayered the pages flat and tied a ribbon through the spine. I also threaded buttons on the ribbon. voila! mini book complete. :)
My POTDs… I made a superman cape, originally for Jordan, but he didn’t want it… Jalen loves it! Here he is doing the big chested Superman pose. :)4.3.08
I can not believe that for the first time all year, I forgot to take a picture on the day. I was so busy working on new graphics for the blog… Ididn’t even take a single picture all day. I thought about it at 11:30 that night when I got in bed. and if I had truly been diligent I would have come back downstairs to get my camera and take a picture. alas, I went to sleep and was forced to create a “potd” that represented the day…. better than nothing I guess!
Our chilly day at the park… POTD 5.5.08… Jalen playing the harmonica. that kid cracks me up!
So the big call day is tomorrow… and I’ll be at Church with my scrappy friends! :) I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend, I’ll blog you tomorrow!

Very cute mini book! I love those colors mixed with stars for little boys. Don’t beat yourself up about missing a day. It’s all good! :D
Oh, and it was 27 here the other morning. 27!!!! In April!!! In Canby, the banana belt of the Willamette Valley!!!
We were excited because it got up to 68 the other day. LOL! :D
Joscie, LOVE the quote book! I’ve been keeping a journal of my daughter’s funny little comments since she started talking (she’ll be 3 in July) and your book is the cutest idea for putting them all together. Love it! :)
PS – Supposed to get up to 83 degrees here in Northern California by the weekend, yay!
Wow….your digi book is AWESOME! Is that an online class?
So, have you heard anything from CK?
My girls have harmonicas too….they’re such beautiful little instruments!
Love the new blog graphics!! Well worth the effort you put into them! (Even if it meant no pic for the day!)
