Hi,
I found my way here through google while searching shopping places from Hawaii. I will visit your beautiful islands next spring/early summer and I’m sure these tips will be very useful! Thank you for posting them.

Was glad to have your handy list for my trip to Oahu this past week. My first stop on the list was J’s Knicknacks….I went crazy in that little shop that is filled to rafters with rafting goodness…just about blew my entire scrapping budget in that one glorious visit…LOL
I did visit a couple of other places, Stamps and Memories, Pineapple Cove, a wonderful store in Kailua, A Place In Time and got to meet Bill and his lovely wife, Priscilla. they were so gracious and Bill was kind enough to demonstrate a couple of new products to me that I just had to buy…this store is a MUST VISIT STORE…the were a couple of places on the list that have gone out of business. They are….Stampin’Munchkins and Scrapbook Heaven. Thanks for providing this list for us paper crafters who would be lost without your wonderful resource list… It really made my trip to Oahu complete.
YAY! thanks dear! Just found this while I just twitted that I was looking for scrapbook stores in Hawaii :) Going there in January and now I know where to look for great stores! THANK YOU! :)
hugs!

Heading to Oahu tomorrow for a week and was really happy to find this list! My father was stationed at Marine Barracks Pearl Harbor 1971-74 and I’ve never had the opportunity to go back. I was only in junior high then! Wish I could get on the base to see the old house but doesn’t seem like that’s possible for a civilian–and it’s certainly understandable these days.
I was wondering, if you had to pick just one scrapbooking store to visit and were interested in finding Hawaii-themed papers and embellishments, which one would you go to? We’re traveling with another couple so I really won’t be able to check them all out, much as I would like to!
I so love your blog! I used to live in Oahu in the 70′s when my dad was stationed at Barber’s Point. I loved it and when I visited the island again a couple of summers ago I was amazed at how much the island has grown. This December my parents and I will be visiting the Oahu and I’ll have a couple of days to myself and a rental car at my disposal so I’m definitely going to try and visit as many scrapbook stores as possible. Are the stores you’ve listed above all still in business? Aloha.
