The reason I don’t like Chuck E Cheese. … my kids always get sick every time we go there. no matter how many times you hand sanitize/wash/wipe with alcohol wipes…. they are just overrun. and in true post chuck e cheese fashion, Jordan is sick. He had a fever on tuesday night/wednesday. Thursday he had no fever, but still clingy/sluggish… so our potd, taken by dad on Wednesday, Jordan snuggled up for a little nap with mom on the couch. and I am sorry but my vanity caused me to crop myself out of the picture. YIKES that hair was a mess!

yesterday we went to look for another table for my scrap room. we went to the Naked Furniture store (not in stock and cost more than I wanted to spend) and then to Home Depot (they don’t carry furniture) and then to Lowes at the Waikele outlet (they don’t have it either). since we were out there around dinner time, we made the effort to have dinner at Chili’s. Yesterday’s POTD…

although it could very easily have been the look of “my dad is the coolest dad in the world” look from Jalen:

and when we were done with Lowes and Chilis… we decided to take a ride on the free trolley… we waited and waited, and by the time the trolley made it to us, he was on his last run. which meant we could not ride for a full loop, and the end of the line was too far to walk back to the start. so we rode one stop down, and visited the ever favorite malasada truck. Jordan looked so cute with his sugar lip….

OH, and I got LIz’s circle journal in the mail yesterday… so cute… it’s about grattitude. Heather got her completed circle journal and I can’t wait to get mine!

I am really really stalking the mail man. ‘specting a package from AZ (kimmy), Chicago (tag), Oregon (AMRx4 seperate items)… maybe it’ll be loaded in there today.

and last little note, Troy has to travel for work for a few days. blah! he’ll be back in the afternoon on Jordan’s birthday. (he missed Jordan’s birth, was here for the first birthday, missed the second…) such is life with a military man.
