I don’t know how I found my way to prism cardstock blog/website… but there was a challenge linked to some colors and a product for inspiration. I immediately thought of two pictures I have featured as my POTD. they ask for one link per day… so here is my first one….
the sunset from 1/10/08 was especially beautiful, thanks to the vog in the air. the materials are black, apricot, pumpkin pie and some light blue cardstock from Stampin’ Up! torn and sewn with my sewing machine. i punched part of an oval with a SU punch. the two brads are doodlebug. the flowers were from a rak from detta, the black brads are creative impressions. I used a black pigment pen for journaling, and ek success stickers for the word sunset in the lower corner. the page is 8×8. i think a little small for the scale I am used to… but I still like it. I hope you do too.

a rak is a random act of kindness, usually a give away of some sort…

Very beautiful!! The colors of the sunset go perfectly with the colors you choose for the page. Even the primas fit in perfectly!!!
