so some would use a word that starts with a and ends with nal to describe my sorting mania, but I like to use the word thorough. that sounds less damaged, doesn’t it? I was thinking to myself as I sorted my piles, i mean loads, of laundry… hmmm khaki is not really a white/light more of a mid tone… and I guess grey could go with khaki… so is your laundry sorted with the same stringency as your card stock? or is it just me?

Tricia layed down a challenge to the DT members at Concroption for the “unlimited” projects in the month of February for an undisclosed prize. I started out today with a cuuuute project using bg blush… I still have a bunch from last year, and the tags and the matchbook… so be on the look out for a lot of blush for valentines day. also the jenni bowlin die cut card stock, mini patterned papers, journaling cards, 7 gypsies gaffers tape…

also today I used yet another suggestion/tip/idea from Becky Higgins… acrylic paint hand prints on canvas. I had 3 8×8 canvases on hand (the flat kind) and I painted them black and let them dry, then this afternoon painted Dad, Jalen and Jordans hands in red. looks awesome. I need to get to Ben Franklin and get another matching size canvas for myself. I also took her advice and did one on card stock too. loving the look.

Jalen went to sleep last night in his bunk bed/tent and slept on 3 pillows and woke up with a cramped up neck. we took him to the doc and were told it’s a neck muscle spasm like people sometimes get charley horse in their hamstring (i had one in my back about a year ago-ouch!) so he had a hot bath and is curled up in a big robe playing his DS. so for now, he’s okay.

and this morning Jordan and mom painted with acrylic paint (since he polished off the watercolors) and I added some glitter. This kid asked me to paint a blaster. i say, sorry son, mommy doesn’t know how to make a blaster. but I know how to make a heart because I looooove you. he got annoyed and told me you don’t! you don’t make heart. you make a blaster. you can do it. funny kid. my potd is our art…
and this just in, a picture from My uncle Greg on Maui… it snowed in Hawaii up on Haleakala in Maui… isn’t it beautiful! THIS is HAWAIIAN snow!
