We took a circle island drive today… Jalen got out of school at 12:15 and we picked up some drive through from Jack in the Box and headed to the North Shore. We stopped at this bridge, one of my favorites so I could take some pictures… we stopped at beach park so Jalen could use the bathroom and we took some more pictures. Troy took the shot of me from the unflattering rear … but it was sweet. Our next stop was waimea bay, calm and beautiful… then Chinaman’s hat in Kualoa, the Heeia Kea Pier to see if we’d find uncle Bryan. NO such luck with him, but we did see Uncle Raymond down there. It was a nice trip this afternoon. 3.5 hours and 65 miles…. next trip we’ll go east to Sandy’s and Makapu’u to see if we can see any whales.

Beautiful pictures! I love bridges and beaches. I envy all that sunshine I see!! I am so Washington-white it’s not even funny, so don’t laugh when you see me in a couple of weeks when you’re all tan and I’m super pale!!
What a nice way to spend the day!
Wonderful photographs….you are surrounded by unbelievable beauty. Stunning waves. I showed my hubby, he said: “Sweet surf!!!” ;o)
Looks you and your boys had a marvelous time…what fun!!!!
Oh, to live in the tropics…our climate is HOT in summer BUT we have 50 knot winds to deal with ;O(
Nice to see you in a photograph for a change.X
Sounds like a great day. Love the photos — especially, the one of your son in the sand…AWESOME!
Oh wow… It’s gorgeous. I so miss it now.
I don’t know what sparked my longing for the islands again… strange.
I had a crappy old camera when I lived there (hey, it was in ’93…) so all my pics are terrible.
I MUST go back just for the pics. :D I know some of those secret spots for locals too… haha!
